Here we are just 15 days away from our scheduled trip to Seoul on February 10th and what happens? A virus outbreak! Me, Max, and Jaye, plus an intern from Duke Kunshan University have been really looking forward to this trip! We've been scheduled to visit Holt International, Holt Ilsan Center, meet the Seoul Survivors Rugby Club and I am submitting my DNA to the Seoul Police database.
The timing couldn't be worse! Not that the timing is ever good for a virus outbreak, but here we are, in Guangzhou, China. There's been a lot of fake news and media sensationalizing and Flora freaking out, but we are staying calm. However, there is a good chance we will need to postpone our trip from February until things calm down and are under control.
It's our main concern, that everyone stay calm and healthy. No need to freak out. It doesn't help. We hope you all are well-stocked if you're on lock down. We hope you have an ample supply of face masks. We hope you are WEARING your face masks. And please, for God's sake, keep your hands washed. We will keep you updated on progress and if we will postpone the trip.
